Rumble Kong League will feature Gatorade-branded items

A new web3 game has teamed up with Gatorade to provide fun in-game branded experiences. Rumble Kong League, set to launch on mobile platforms this summer, will partner with Gatorade as the official drink of the digital basketball game. 

The collaboration will bring the introduction of the “G-Machine,” an in-game vending machine that uses the game’s native currency to unlock exclusive Gatorade-themed collectibles.

Playable on the Avalanche blockchain, Rumble Kong League allows players to earn gear through gameplay, leading to both in-game utility and IRL allure. Notably, the game has captured the attention of NBA celebrities like LA Clippers forward Paul George and Golden State Warriors star forward Steph Curry. 

Sui blockchain welcomes AAA shooter game XOCIETY

The AAA pop shooter game XOCIETY is coming to web3! According to a recent tweet, game studio Ndus Interactive is partnering with decentralized infrastructure developer Mysten Labs to bring XOCIETY to the Sui blockchain. 

Aiming to push the boundaries of web3 gaming, XOCIETY blends immersive RPG elements with dynamic player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) scenarios. The game will introduce unique features like nestable and dynamic NFTs. 

Decentraland announces first gaming expo

Mark your calendars for June 26 to 29. Decentraland just announced its inaugural Game Expo, which is shaping up to be quite the showcase of the latest in web3 gaming. 

The expo will spotlight 2024’s Game Jam winners, top Decentraland games and may have exclusive prizes. Registration for the expo is currently open, and you can enter the Game Jam starting May 1. Act fast; developers with existing games have until May 10 to secure one of the ten available booths. 

‘Moonbirds Universe’ announced, elevating NFT utility with exclusive commercial rights and 3D avatars

Moonbirds is granting commercial rights exclusively to NFT holders, departing from its original Creative Commons Zero (CC0) licensing policy. 

The NFT collection is gearing up to introduce a fresh art direction, along with 3D avatars designed for animation and integration, into virtual worlds like Otherside. The brand transformation will also include the creation of Volaria, a new digital realm for community interaction. 

Beyond digital, Moonbirds is also planning physical events and partnerships, starting with a satellite event at ApeFest 2024 this October in Lisbon. 

Pudgy Penguins launches third-party licensing deal

The next web3 card game will feature 200 familiar penguins. Pudgy Penguins has announced a brand new third-party licensing deal with Spencer Ventures-backed game incubator Orange Cap Games. The deal was brokered on the intellectual property (IP) licensing marketplace Overpass. 

Pudgy Penguin NFT holders must submit their Penguins for inclusion in the game on Overpass. Interested owners can submit their Penguin for consideration now.
