Welcome to the OpenSea digest. Let’s look back through the biggest NFT and web3 news of the week.

Jeremy Booth will bring the Wild West to life in his upcoming Marfa International solo exhibition

Pop western artist Jeremy Booth will soon ride off into the desert, artwork in tow. The painter just announced his upcoming solo exhibition at Marfa International, an art showcase in Texas’ remote Chihuahuan Desert plateau.

Something of a luminary in his field, Booth operates without traditional art gallery representation, yet has been celebrated among web3 art collectors for his minimalistic reimaginings of classic Western American motifs. In his work, you’ll notice colorful horses, cacti and cowboys, along with depictions of shoot-out scenes and cattle round-ups.

The May 2024 exhibition will mark a significant moment for the artist, who will be showing his physical on-canvas paintings after experiencing success as a digital artist.

Individually styled, the small-batch denim jackets are one-of-one collector’s pieces and for select Doodle holders were available starting on April 4 for minting and in-person pick up in person during NFT NYC.

If that’s not enough fun, Doodles holders also enjoyed a 20% discount this week on MNTGE merchandise from its online store.
